“ Welcome to Tejano Grill! You can smell the amazing food as you enter the restaurant. Get there early for parking. Sometimes it’s packed in the parking lot. We tried the Brisket sandwich and the cheese enchiladas. Chips and salsa included. Good food and customer service great! Some of the food recommendations by TikTok followers are carne guisada enchiladas, brisket queso, brisket poboy and fajitas ponchos with brisket. Hungry already? “ 6•13•25 ok been a long while since we come back and give it another try ordered the 8 layer flour tortilla Taco yet they forgot my sour cream because it says on menu but they forgot to. The plate it was ok yet a bit dried vs. Past photos more moist Speaking of which they omitted alot of food on the menu which asado de puerco was not listed had to ask and said they still make it. Is it fresh idk or was it sitting there idk. Anyways was a decent meal but menu is alot smaller my pics will give you and update of the menu. Customer service was good the gentleman who attended us was good, I asked for Chile Serrano and there was none he said jalapeno I said raw I want raw brings back picked/jar for nachos I'm like no I want raw. They don't have Chile torriado (grilled) either so idk yet they give you salsa.. wait what?? .. 11•22•24 came in and had a quick bite, and it was delicious very nice, quiet meal, and your asado de puerco was very good with a flour tortilla. Major change from last time. The child's plate is well served, and very tasty, crunchy ground beef tacos are so good. Try them you will like them at a decent price with rice and beans. Thx tejano grill. Came back again. I wanted asado de puerco. Now really T.G. seriously, who told you asado de puerco is pulled pork? Yes, it is the same pork, but seriously, the way it is prepared, it was disappointing, and i was shook. This was made like that. You all get your cooks set straight. This is an old mexi dish, man. Come on now. Do your homework if it was to be shredded, then label it or put "our version way shreaded pull pork asado de puerco." Then, to top it off, our servere was the worst, and we honestly waited 45 minutes to get our food. And yet incomplete. Still waited for another dish pending Sheesh! And what's up with your complimentary salsa still in a small child's play dish??? If your wanting to save on this then ask the guest would you like salsa then pour into a reasonable size dish otherwise this is so silly and ridiculous I called you out on the last review on this issue. ”
“ Been here a couple times, first thing I will say is lunch menu is their shining star. Breakfast is good not great. Biggest only real complaint I have is that their sweet tea is probably the worst I’ve had, the taste of tap water is extremely present not filtered at all. ”
“ This is one of our favorite restaurants in Harlingen! We’ve been coming here for years and this review is way overdue. From breakfast tacos, daily lunch specials, or their smoked meats, everything is divine, fresh, and delicious. Their breakfast tacos are always reasonably priced with a large variety to choose from, and the small size one is still huge. Friday through Sunday they have menudo and barbacoa as well and they are both absolutely spectacular. Panchos and choriqueso are our favorite appetizers, both being delicious. Their Mexican lunch plates are delicious too, meat is perfectly cooked, enchiladas are perfectly sauced and filled with filling, tostadas packed and nicely crispy tortillas, tortillas always coming out hot in foil. These guys have probably the best tortillas around. Not to mention, service, whether we have been ordering Togo, or dining in has always been on point. We have never had a bad time when dining here. Drinks always refilled, servers always present when needed, and always professional. Thank you for being one of our favorite spots in the valley! ”
